Welcome to "Harmonious" where we explore the synergy of crystals and herbs. My name is Meline, I’m a holistic life coach with a naturopathic medical degree and a deep passion for herbalism.

Those who know me well are aware that I have a special love for gems and crystals. I created this podcast to share my passion for crystals and herbs, and more specifically, how their combined use can be particularly beneficial. Both crystals and herbs originate from the Earth. Crystals came before vegetation, as minerals were present before plants and trees began to evolve on Earth. In a sense, crystals can be regarded as the ancestors of plants. So, let's dive right in! I will delve into the subject further as we progress. To start, I want to discuss one of my favorite crystals, amethyst, and one of my most cherished herbs, lavender. We will explore how we can enhance their benefits when used in combination.

OK so let's start with lavender.

There are various species of lavender found around the world, but regardless of the type, their fundamental benefits are generally similar. One of the most commonly encountered species is English lavender, or Lavandula angustifolia. I firmly believe that we encounter the right herb at the right time, and when we require its properties, it will appear in our lives. Plants are incredibly potent healers, and their therapeutic effects extend beyond their medicinal properties to include their energetic presence.

As for myself, I have been suffering from migraine headaches since the age of eleven and have tried several medications, none of which have been successful in alleviating my headaches. However, when I began exploring alternative options, I discovered lavender. I was introduced to lavender essential oil, which is one of the few essential oils that can be applied directly to the skin. I used one drop of the oil on my temples and felt immediate relief from my migraine headaches. Since then, I have always kept a small bottle of lavender essential oil in my purse. Lavender is renowned for its ability to soothe headaches, particularly those caused by stress, and is also beneficial for depression.

Before we proceed, I would like to emphasize that none of the materials discussed in this podcast are intended to diagnose or treat any mental, emotional, or physical ailments. Please do not stop or initiate any medication based on what you learn here. It is essential to always consult with your medical doctor before beginning or discontinuing any treatments or medications. The information presented here is solely for your personal knowledge and education. Additionally, please make sure that you are not allergic to any herbs or plants before experimenting with them.

Let's now focus on the crystal amethyst. It's important to mention that both lavender and amethyst share a similar purple color. Amethyst is a potent crystal that corresponds to the crown chakra. It's highly effective in calming and soothing the mind, making it an excellent aid for meditation. It clears our thoughts and helps us make better decisions. Additionally, amethyst has a balancing effect, which makes it helpful during emotional highs and lows. Historically, amethyst was known as the sobriety stone. Drinking from an amethyst cup was thought to reduce the negative effects of alcohol and help the person sober up quickly. Amethyst is a profoundly spiritual stone that inspires love for the divine and provides insights into the true nature of any situation. It can relieve physical, emotional, and psychological pain or stress.

We can already notice that there are many parallels between the benefits of lavender and amethyst. Moreover, I feel intuitively connected to both beings, and they share the same vibrational frequency and level of existence in my mind.

Let's now explore different ways to combine the benefits of amethyst crystal and lavender herb synergistically.

· One simple way is to place an amethyst crystal near a lavender plant in your garden or indoors. You can add a piece of amethyst to a lavender sachet and place it in your car, on your desk, or near your bed. This enhances the calming and soothing properties of both the crystal and the plant.

· Another option is to add a few drops of lavender essential oil and an amethyst crystal to a relaxing bath. Soaking in a lavender and amethyst bath promotes deep relaxation and tension release.

· For headaches or eye strain, place lavender flower buds and small pieces of amethyst in an eye pillow to soothe the pain and promote relaxation.

· We can create a calming spray bottle by adding a few drops of lavender essential oil to a spray bottle filled with water and dropping a few pieces of amethyst crystals into the water. Shake the bottle well and spray it on your pillows, in your room, or in your car to refresh the air and to spread the divine energy of the amethyst crystal into your space.

· A more advanced method is to create a crystal elixir with a water-safe crystal such as an amethyst. Leave a clean amethyst crystal in water overnight, then use the water to make lavender tea. This is an internal way to combine the benefits of both the crystal and the herb. However, it's important to research and be cautious with certain crystals that may not be water-safe or may contain toxic materials. Generally, quartz crystals such as amethyst, rose quartz, smoky quartz, and clear quartz are considered water safe.

· Make crystal-infused herbal oil - You can make crystal-infused herbal oil by placing an amethyst crystal and some dried lavender flowers in a jar of carrier oil such as olive oil and leaving it for a few weeks. Then, strain the oil and use it for massage, in a bath, or as a moisturizer. Combining lavender and amethyst in an oil can enhance their calming and soothing effect.

· Another option is to create a crystal grid with herbs - You can create a crystal grid with herbs by placing amethyst crystals and lavender flowers and leaves in beautiful geometric patterns. A crystal and flower grid is like a prayer to the universe. In this method we are increasing the vibrational frequency of our intentions with the peaceful and calming energies of the amethyst crystal and the lavender flower, combing it with the powerful sacred geometry which is considered the language of the universe.
